Game days get crazy — constant running around (~sweating~), running into local friends I haven’t seen in forever, posting across all social platforms & “running the show” aka making all the fun entertainment stuff go smoothly.
The team was away this last week and away this upcoming week. I’ve gotten messages saying “enjoy your time off” … except we still work a normal 9-5 when the players are on the road! 🤪
Here’s how my time is currently spent:
⚾️ I’m a full-time employee at the Hartford Yard Goats (so your normal 9-5 plus all home games)
📱I execute content across all social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter & TikTok
💻 None of our social posts are scheduled / preplanned days or weeks in advance – all pretty days of & organic
📝 I write the game day script, connecting with staff & sponsorship, figuring out timing, and connecting with the production booth so they can make it happen
👀 Overseeing the in-game/pre-game/post-game promotions is how my game days are filled (aka all the little fun stuff that happens in between innings
💚 I oversee the mascots for game days & community appearances
