I’m always on my phone. I work from my phone. I make calls, answer countless notifications a day.
But one of the biggest parts of my job is managing social media. I take photos, upload photos, edit photos, search for photos, screenshot photos. Photos photos photos. At least once a day, if not 10, 20, 30x a day.
I click on the photos app. And I see people. And photos of my Dziadek (Grandpa in polish) are the first thing I see every day since I found so many photos for his wake. This smiling, happy, strong-hearted face. Him passing away in October left my entire family speechless.
And for him and my family, I am so honored to be able to host Polish Heritage Night with the Hartford Yard Goats at Dunkin’ Donuts Park this year. The day after my birthday, my full first day of being 25 years old. Consider joining me and my family, and purchase tickets to the July 12th game ❤️
